ECEC Centre Director Subheading

Hazelwood ECC is a 52 place centre based in Hazelbrook, in a purpose-built building. Being in operation in the community for over 30 years, Hazelwood is a community minded centre with a well-loved reputation. 
We are looking for an experienced and committed Director for a Full Time position spending time on the floor and leading the team of educators, as well as being supported by the ECEC Operations Manager.

Essential Criteria, you must have:

• An ACECQA Approved Diploma or ECT qualification 
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in ECEC services, at a senior level
• Knowledge and implementation of NQF and EYLF
• Understanding and implementation of current approaches, practices and theories of Early Childhood Education
• Ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds
• Practice in building community partnerships
• Initiative and ability to work independently and under supervision
• Team leadership, mentoring and management skills 
• Experience using Centre management and Documentation software
• Experience in developing and managing budgets
• A cleared Working with Children Check, current Police Check, Child Protection and First Aid qualifications.
